My personal story
A couple of years ago, I started taking my nutrition seriously. I tracked calories. I hit my protein targets. I ate what I thought was a balanced diet.
But I still felt tired. Still had brain fog in the afternoons. Still wasn't recovering well from workouts.
My blood tests came back and my doctor pointed to a few things - low magnesium, borderline B12, vitamin D well below recommended. Nothing dramatic. Just enough to explain why I felt slightly off all the time.
The frustrating part? I'd been using a nutrition app the entire time. It never once told me I was low on any of these. It tracked my calories perfectly and completely missed the things that actually mattered.
That's when I decided to build the app I wish I'd had - one that goes past the surface-level numbers and tells you what your body is actually missing.
